2022 Webinar: What Employers Need to Know about Statutory PFML Plans

The rapid adoption of statutory paid family and medical leave (PFML) laws is enough to make heads spin. And it’s impacting a growing number of industry professions. In the 2021 Paid Family and Medical Leave Pulse Survey, DMEC found that 81% of respondents did business in a state that had a statutory PFML law, and 78% of respondents did business in more than one state with such laws. Additional talk of a federal requirement makes it increasingly difficult for employers to stay up to date on PFML laws and changes.

In this session, we will help employers navigate and understand the PFML requirements in statutory states including California, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington. We will review options other than the state-run programs and help employers understand what they should consider when comparing plan benefits.
